Tyler is definitely ready to be potty trained. He has been asking about it for weeks. So... I decided this week we would start.
We went to the store and bought a potty chair( the one we used with Ethan fell out of the moving truck on our most recent move.) And he needed underwear. At first, I was going to buy Ethan new underwear and pass his slightly too small underwear on to Tyler. Almost everything Tyler owns was once Ethan's. I would say that 99 % of all his clothes, blankets, and toys were Ethan's at one time. The more I thought about this..the more I knew that there are some things that you just need your own of. Hand me down underwear is crossing LINES!
HE WAS SOOOO HAPPY!!! This is when I knew that he gets to many hand-me-downs. When we got home he said our Lunch prayer it went something like this
"tankful fow home...tankful fow potty seat...tankful fow underwear..tankful fow potty seat...tankful fow underwear..."
I'll let you know how it goes. My memories of potty training Ethan are that is was the most excruciating experience of parenting - but Tyler is a bit mellower than Ethan so hopefully it will go smoothly!

lovin the boxer-briefs. michael jordan would be proud! good luck in your endeavors. it looks like you stocked up on the supplies, i.e. candy corn. that is a must! i love your kitchen by the way, it's beautiful. you need to take pictures of the rest of your house so i can see it.
ps-so hand me down underwear is inappropriate...are you saying i should stop giving my used pantaloons to the D.I.? all this time i thought i was contributing to the needs of the underwearless. :)
