Favorite Thing Day5
It's been a cold and rainy day today and tonight I just want to cuddle up with a blanket, drink some hot chocolate and watch a good chick flick. One of my favorites is Pride and Prejudice. I love both the A&E Colin Firth version and the more recent Keira Knightly version. I mean, Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy is near perfection but the new Mr.Darcy, Matthew Macfadyen, won me over with his line, "You have bewitched me body and soul."The 2005 version has a BEAUTIFUL musical score-some of the most relaxing music I've ever heard(maybe that's why Preston always goes to sleep during the movie!!) I'd love to own the soundtrack(hint hint Preston) So if you haven't seen this new version of Pride and Prejudice check it out. Seriously...if you are a girl and human I am pretty sure you'll LOVE it!!!

I have to agree with you! All my friends are very adament and love one and hate the other! I love them both! Can't we all just be friends?
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE P&P!!! It actually might be the point of obsession. When I first got the Kiera Knightly version, I watched it every week for months. Oh, and by the way, we made the Spanish Lentejas soup the other day and even though we doubled the batch, it was all gone by the next day. DELICIOUS!!! Thanks for introducing me to the world of lentils.
I really enjoyed both versions. Thanks for the You Tube trailer, it reminded me of all the smiles, tears, and laughter of the movie.
